Our Story
Half sisters. 7 years apart. Opposite sides of the world. Kiwi and British heritage.
We are Amanda and Liv, half-sisters who were born seven years apart in the same corner of London.
We grew up on opposite sides of the world. Liv had the hustle of the city in London, and Amanda had the slow pace of the countryside in New Zealand’s South Island. Whenever we were together, there was never a dull day. We made music videos, practised photography, did makeovers, and staged mini fashion shows. A shared love of creativity has always been what bonded us closer together.
Liv studied fashion in Brighton and became a womenswear designer in London, learning how clothes are cut, constructed and brought to life. Amanda started a dress rental business at 16 before studying business and science at Otago University. Through our different paths, we both watched thousands of women choose what to wear, and saw which pieces they came back to again and again.
Twelve time zones apart, we kept having the same conversation: how could we turn our shared creative passion into fashion? In the summer of 2026, together in Wānaka, it finally became a reality.
Amali London is the result. The brand blends our two names, Amanda and Liv, with the city where we were both born.
We design small limited collections in a variety of quality, comfortable and natural fabrics that feel as good as they look, with every piece made to work with the others. It’s the wardrobe we always wanted to share.
